Communication Specialist

Job Description:
The Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance the company’s brand visibility and engagement. This role involves managing internal and external communication, creating compelling content, and supporting the marketing team in various promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote DCarbon Global’s services, projects, and achievements.
- Create high-quality content for various channels, including social media, website, newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.
- Manage DCarbon Global’s social media accounts, ensuring timely and engaging posts aligned with the company’s brand voice.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather content and develop key messages for diverse communication needs.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including coordinating events, webinars, and workshops.
- Monitor media coverage, compile reports, and assess the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for media inquiries and support the preparation of spokespersons for interviews and public appearances.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainability topics, and communication best practices to enhance DCarbon Global’s visibility and outreach.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably in the sustainability or consulting industry.
- Proven experience in content creation, media relations, and managing social media platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility topics is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
