Dr. Ehab Shalaby, PhD – Chairman of DCarbon Egypt, attended the Environment and Development Forum 2022 (EDF) – The Road to Sharm El Sheikh Climate Change COP27 held between 11-13 September 2022, at the InterContinental City Stars in Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Shalaby moderated the “Climate & Green Finance” session. The session discusses green climate and green finance options, the role of the international and national financial institutions, international climate-related funds, and private sector in financing climate change adaptation and mitigation projects, green economy and green national budgets, and means to ensure that national infrastructure projects and privately constructed and operated projects are green reflecting sustainability and with no negative impacts on the environment, society, and other economic activities.
