Dr. Ehab Shalaby, PhD, CEO of DCarbon Global, participates in 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, under the patronage of 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝘆𝗶𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗾 𝗮𝗹-𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗱 on 29-31 January 2024 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).

To foster IFRS S1 and S2 implementation in the MENA region, DCarbon Global participates in the Oman International Conference on Accounting and Auditing, this is conducted as part of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Program to discuss the challenges and innovations of IFRS S1-S2 implementation as well as showcasing the outcomes of MOC financial statements results across three sectors mainly banking, real estate and construction, and oil and gas.

DCarbon will also showcase the implications of transitional risks on the MENA region and showcase carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM) implications on exports to the EU and relevant precautions across the six designated sectors.
