Under the auspices of the Egyptian President AbdEl Fattah Al Sisi, Egypt has inaugurated the 12th edition of the World Urban Forum (WUF12), on November 4th, 2024. Inspiring the world leaders, presidents, and experts, from 182 countries around the world, to promote resilient, green, and inclusive cities as well as emphasizing the importance of sustainable urban development and inclusive cities for all.

DCarbon is honored to have participated in WUF12, as part of our commitment to sustainable urban development, and promoting the best sustainable development practices while ensuring their durability. DCarbon reiterated on the four key pillars of sustainable event management during this year’s WUF12 forum that highlighted sustainable event practices while showcasing the UN’s leadership in leading sustainability. During the opening ceremony heads of state and global decision-makers, such as global civil society, private sector and academia were brought together stressing the importance of joining forces to address urban sustainability challenges, make a positive impact and create resilient futures!
