Job Summary
DCarbon Global is seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Quality Control Specialist to ensure the consistency, clarity, and accuracy of all content produced by our research and design teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing technical research content, reviewing visual outputs, and ensuring that all deliverables meet DCarbon’s quality standards, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
This role requires strong editorial skills, particularly in English-language auditing and content editing, as well as a sharp eye for both textual and visual quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Quality Review
- Review and verify research deliverables across all levels (junior to senior researchers).
- Audit content for accuracy, clarity, completeness, consistency, and alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
- Ensure correct application of methodologies and that credible data and reputable sources back all findings.
- Conduct English-language audits to ensure high standards of grammar, spelling, structure, and style.
- Flag inconsistencies, gaps, or deviations and coordinate with the research team for timely resolution.
- Design Quality Review
- Inspect visual outputs, including reports, presentations, infographics, and digital assets.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, formatting standards, and visual clarity.
- Collaborate with designers to improve visual storytelling, consistency, and design precision.
- Content Editing & English Language Auditing
- Provide comprehensive content editing, focusing on structure, tone, grammar, and readability.
- Conduct English language reviews to ensure professional, clear, and audience-appropriate writing across all deliverables.
- Standardize the language and terminology used across reports and visual materials.
- Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain and update quality control checklists and document templates for various deliverable types.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of quality assurance frameworks, tools, and review workflows.
- Provide regular feedback to team leads on quality trends and recurring issues to support training and development.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with researchers, designers, and project managers to align expectations, deadlines, and delivery standards.
- Act as the final gatekeeper for all deliverables before client submission or internal publication.
- Support onboarding and training efforts related to quality standards, language use, and review processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in arts, Business and Economics, communication, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, content editing, or research/design review—preferably within consultancy, research, or creative industries.
- Proven expertise in English language auditing and professional writing/editing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors in both textual and visual content.
- Familiarity with sustainability, ESG, or climate-related topics is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and visual design tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, InDesign).
- Experience with project management or quality assurance tools is a plus.
