Representing DCarbon Global and Forvis Mazars in Qatar, our team was honored to contribute to the national conversation around ESG integration, sustainable finance, and climate-aligned disclosure practices, essential building blocks of Qatar’s Vision 2030.

A special highlight was the keynote by Dr. Ehab Shalaby, PhD, CEO of DCarbon Global, who brought powerful clarity and practical insight to the preparers’ panel. From transitioning from GRI to ISSB, to overcoming the limitations of spreadsheets in ESG reporting, Dr. Shalaby’s session offered actionable guidance that truly resonated with attendees navigating this evolving space.

Hosted by 𝗤𝗖𝗕, 𝗤𝗙𝗖𝗥𝗔, 𝗤𝗙𝗠𝗔, and 𝗤𝗦𝗘, the event outlined Qatar’s phased roadmap for adopting IFRS-aligned sustainability and climate disclosures. With first reporting expected in 2026, this initiative is more than regulatory, it’s a bold move toward transparent markets, informed capital, and long-term resilience.
