Global Sustain and DCarbon completed the 1st Executive Training Programme on Sustainable Finance in Egypt

Global Sustain Group and DCarbon have successfully completed the first Executive Training Programme on Sustainable Finance in Egypt. The training took place on 27-28 September at the JW Marriott Hotel, Ring Road-Mirage City, New Cairo, Egypt. It was attended by Egyptian Regulators, National Institutes, as well as leading banks, corporates and other stakeholders who shared know-how and insights about the future of sustainable finance in Egypt.
With the vision to lead sustainable business transitions, Global Sustain Group and DCarbon Egypt have recently entered a strategic partnership aiming at knowledge and knowhow transfer, international best practices and solutions sharing, developing opportunities for emerging markets and attracting sustainable finance and investments to Egyptian banks and corporates. The first Executive Training Programme on Sustainable Finance in Egypt marks the beginning of this cooperation. The ultimate purpose of this Executive Training Programme was to provide the Egyptian financial sector with the necessary practical knowledge to integrate the principles of sustainable finance, attract and mobilize sustainable finance and investments.
This executive training was a sustainable and carbon-neutral event, guided by the UN Sustainable Event Guidelines and in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Agreement and Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy.
