DCarbon Egypt congratulates TCI SANMAR CHEMICALS SAE and EPD Egypt for the publication of the first of its kind Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for PVC Resin products in Egypt.

TCI SANMAR CHEMICALS SAE is the first petrochemical industry in the MENA region to publish an EPD, marking a significant milestone in Egypt’s industrial sustainability.

EPDs communicate any product’s environmental performance or impact transparently and are demanded by many countries.

DCarbon team of environmental experts developed the Lifecycle Assessment and EPD according to the EN 15804+A2 and the ISO 14025 standards becoming the first Egyptian consultancy firm to do so.

PVC is extensively used in construction. With an EPD for this product, we are one step closer to learning more about the embodied carbon within our buildings.
