Location: Cairo, Egypt      Type of Contract: Individual Contract         Duration of Initial Contract: One Year, renewable

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning and Development Manager to join our team at DCarbon Global. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in the training field, with a strong background in managing training programs and delivering training to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  2. Manage training programs, including but not limited to GRI training, CBAM, IFRS, and other sustainability reporting frameworks.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training materials.
  4. Conduct training sessions for both internal staff and external clients, ensuring a high level of knowledge transfer and skill development.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends and updates in sustainability reporting standards to ensure training content is current and relevant.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with training providers and industry experts to enhance the quality of our programs.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in training and development are a plus.
  2. Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, with a focus on sustainability reporting standards.
  3. Strong understanding of GRI, CBAM, IFRS, TCFD and other relevant frameworks.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  6. Proven organizational and project management skills.
  7. Familiarity with the sustainability and ESG landscape is advantageous.
