Projects Manager – GCC Region

Job Summary: The Project Manager for DCarbon Global will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategy and growth within the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region. Specializing in sustainability and climate change, DCarbon Global offers a diverse range of consulting services aimed at fostering sustainable practices and mitigating climate-related risks. The Project Manager will oversee various projects in the GCC region, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction while contributing to the company’s expansion and market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives in the GCC region.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes related to sustainability and climate change in the GCC context.
- Collaborate with senior management to align project initiatives with overall company goals and objectives.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to client requirements.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation in consultation with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, trainers, and technical experts, to achieve project milestones.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in the GCC region, fostering strong relationships and addressing their needs effectively.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews with clients to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or expansion.
- Anticipate client requirements and proactively propose solutions or additional services to enhance value delivery.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities within the GCC region, leveraging existing networks and market knowledge.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, pitches, and presentations for potential clients.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote DCarbon Global’s services and capabilities.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and training.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team to enhance overall capabilities and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+years) in project management, preferably within the consulting industry and GCC region.
- Preferable understanding of sustainability concepts, climate change mitigation/adaptation strategies, and relevant frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, EPD).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are preferred.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the GCC region is a plus.
