Oldest, Largest, and newest “Egyptian 100X100” The first sustainability report is issued according to international standards

DCarbon congratulates Egyptian drilling for the launch of its first Sustainability Report: “The Future of Our Heritage”.

The Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC) launched its first sustainability report in accordance with the Global Reporty Intiative (GRI) standards.

This achievement comes at that time to clearly send a strong message about the resilience of the Egyptian Drilling Company and the Egyptian oil and gas sector at a time when the global, regional and local economies are experiencing a severe crisis.

On the other hand, this report plays an important role in highlighting the integration of the strategy of the Egyptian Drilling Company and the project to modernize the Egyptian petroleum sector on one side, and the strategy of Egypt 2030 on the other side.

The report began with the speech of Engineer Osama Kamel, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who pointed out that Egyptian Drilling is one of the best drilling services companies in Egypt and the Middle East and always seeks to take the initiative and act as a role model in the oil and gas industry.

“We are looking to develop a long-term strategy for building a future-oriented platform taking into account the heavy-duty nature of the oil and gas industry. One of the main pillars of this strategy is sustainability and the ability to achieve it”.
