Dr. Nasser Ayoub, PhD participated in the “COP-Talk” series along with Kuwait Finance House, UNDP in the Arab States region, the League of Arab States – General Secretariat, the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) and International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) to debate current trends and future outlook for the region.

This discussion highlighted the challenges and opportunities in the MENA region’s clean energy transition and the exponential growth in renewable energy. The session focused on the importance of finance in supporting the energy transition, discussing pathways, policies, collaboration opportunities, and investment de-risking strategies.
